Marmaris Romance

I am going to be in Turkey towards the end of May. I have to get from Istanbul to Marmaris. I have about 3 days so could drive if point to point hire cars are available or alternatively fly or bus. Can someone advise if hire cars can be had to drive from Istanbul to Marmaris and not return, and how I can book a flight or bus if I choose that option.
